Effective June 1, 2022, the Concord-based law firm of Rath, Young & Pignatelli, P.C. (RYP) is pleased to announce the expansion of its law firm with the addition of four attorneys from the Manchester-based boutique law firm of Hage Hodes.  Principal Jamie Hage and his colleagues will be joining RYP’s 30 legal and government relations professionals, who are leaders in key sectors of the economy where business and government intersect, including specialized practices in energy, tax, healthcare, medical malpractice, litigation, environment, financial institutions and insurance.  In addition to Jamie Hage, attorneys Douglas Miller, Katherine Hedges and Grayson Shephard collectively bring decades of experience in serving individuals, businesses and institutions in business law, litigation, intellectual property and real estate matters.  This combination will contribute to RYP’s continued growth over the last 35 years, with practices that have become both regional and national in scope with brand recognition in New Hampshire and beyond.

For the past 3 decades, RYP has been successful in merging traditional legal practice areas with legislative and public policy expertise to provide value to its local, regional and national client base.  The addition of the Hage Hodes team provides the opportunity to enhance the resources RYP offers to our clients in business and civil litigation matters.  As one of the founding members of Hage Hodes, Jamie Hage has been a distinguished member of the legal community for over forty years, receiving peer review recognition by New England Super Lawyers® for Business Litigation since 2007, and by The Best Lawyers in America® in Commercial and Business Litigation, Corporate Law, and Intellectual Property, among many other recognitions in the legal field and community.

Both firms share the same collaborative culture and approach to exemplary client service, achieving client success through skillful and creative advocacy in private party negotiations and before courts, regulatory agencies and the legislature.  According to RYP President Adam Varley, “the synergies between the two firms made this a natural fit, both from a team-oriented cultural perspective as well as the level of personal service we provide to our clients.  As we celebrate our 35th anniversary this month, we look forward to expanding the depth of our business and civil litigation practices to further enhance the reputation RYP has in the business and legal community.”  Jamie Hage, Director and President of Hage Hodes PA echoes this sentiment, stating “the combination of our firms will deepen our ability to continue to provide comprehensive and exceptional service to our broad base of individual and business clients.”

As part of its 35th anniversary, RYP is also celebrating a firm rebranding, reflecting the years of experience its professionals collectively have in each of their specialized fields, underscoring that “insight matters.”  For further inquiries relating to this expansion, do not hesitate to reach out to RYP’s Director of Operations, Susan L.
