Adam is an experienced litigator in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts.  He specializes in defending medical professionals in state and Federal courts in claims alleging medical negligence, and before administrative agencies including the New Hampshire Office of Professional Licensure and Certification and Vermont Office of Professional Regulation, and the Boards of Medicine, Nursing, Psychologists, Mental Health, Chiropractic, Podiatry, Dentistry, Allied Health, and others, as well as Department of Health and Human Services and Attorney General’s Office.

An active business litigator as well, Adam’s practice includes a diverse range of cases and appeals involving professional negligence, business torts, contractual and employment matters, real estate disputes, employment investigations, and partnership and limited liability company disputes.  Adam also represents individuals in personal legal matters.

In addition to serving on the Firm’s Management Committee, he co-chairs the Litigation Practice Group and heads the hiring committee at the Firm.  Before returning to his home state, Adam practiced in Washington, D.C.

  • Lead defense counsel for drug manufacturer in lawsuit brought under the Consumer Protection Act.
  • Defense of manufacturers in products liability matters.
  • Advise and represent businesses and shareholders in disputes related to fiduciary duties, contracts, minority shareholder rights, buy-outs, and dissolution.
  • Advise and represent trusts, investment advisors, and beneficiaries related to fiduciary duties and control of assets.
  • Represent public officials in Federal Court defending Constitutional and statutory claims.
