Trial Victories for Rath, Young and Pignatelli’s Medical Defense Attorneys

Mike Pignatelli and Adam Pignatelli recently tried two cases to complete defense verdicts and successfully defended a formal Board investigation against a doctor.

In November 2015, they defeated an aggressive Board prosecution with allegations of improper treatment and harassment. The prosecutor’s demand was a 3-year license suspension that would have effectively ended the doctor’s career. After a two-day trial, the Board imposed minimal discipline without any suspension.

In January 2016, Mike and Adam defeated a claim of loss of fertility in a 25-year-old woman following undetected retained products of conception. The plaintiff demanded millions of dollars. After a week-long trial, the jury returned a complete defense verdict.

In February 2016, Mike and Adam defeated claims that a plaintiff suffered complex regional pain syndrome as a result of a medical procedure performed at a New Hampshire hospital. The demand was millions of dollars. After a 5-day trial, the jury returned a complete defense verdict.
