In an event held on February 11, 2015 at the Newseum in Washington, D.C., titled “A Celebration of the New Hampshire Primary Centennial: The Power of the Granite State” Tom Rath joined a panel of speakers that included U.S. Senators John McCain and Jeanne Shaheen, political consultant James Carville, and the Manchester Union Leader Editor Joe McQuaid.  Stories about Carter, Clinton, Muskie and others were part of the discussion.  And of course, the upcoming Presidential Primary.  Rath was quoted as saying that he believes the upcoming Republican primary is the most “wide open” he can remember.“I think it’s healthy,” he said. “Right now, I couldn’t tell you who is going to win it.
