Rath, Young and Pignatelli was founded in 1987 by Tom Rath as one of the first law firms in New England to recognize the importance of merging traditional legal practice areas with legislative and public policy expertise. Since its founding, Rath | Young has grown with our clients to provide services that are tailored to achieve their goals, both in traditional legal arenas and in public affairs settings.
In 2005, consistent with this process of client-driven growth, we established “The Rath Group” as a new service offered by the firm. Led by former Attorney General Tom Rath, The Rath Group provides strategic public affairs services to clients strategic public affairs and government relations advice to clients who have interests that extend across the New England region and before Congress and federal government agencies in Washington, D.C. The Rath Group works closely with the Government Relations Practice Group at Rath, Young and Pignatelli.
The Rath Group charts a clear path for its clients through the complexities of public policy and provides clients with comprehensive advice and solutions for their strategic public affairs and business development needs.
Our understanding and knowledge of national, state and local government, coupled with our strong personal relationships with government and business leaders across the country enable us to provide our clients with unique insight and solutions.
