On August 1, the Concord Energy & Environment Advisory Committee submitted a draft strategic plan for 100% renewable energy to the Concord City Council. The draft plan outlines a strategy to achieve Concord’s goal of 100% renewable energy, adopted by the City Council in July 2018. The 100% renewable energy goal applies community-wide and encompasses the electricity, transportation and thermal energy sectors.
Shareholder Chuck Willing and Associate Kelsey Sullivan are among the co-authors of the draft strategic plan. Attorney Sullivan was interviewed about the plan for a story published in the Concord Monitor on August 19. Associate Mike Schowalter also contributed to the plan.
