Tony is a member of the firm’s Tax, Business and Finance, and Healthcare Practice Groups, and focuses his practice on federal and state business taxation and business transactions.  A major part of Tony’s practice involves issues related to the formation of, tax planning for, and acquisition and sale of closely-held business entities, such as limited liability companies and S corporations, including structuring transfers to family members and redemptions and buy-outs of owners.  Tony has worked with a number of medical and dental practices, as well as real estate developers, manufacturers, banks, and retailers.

Tony began his legal career at a large multi-national law firm in New York City, and subsequently worked at law firms in Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington.  Prior to attending law school, Tony worked in Washington, D.C. at the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “World Bank”) and at the consulting practice of KPMG.
