CASE STUDIES

Jill Dinneen joined the firm in January 2006 from New York, where she was an associate in the New York office of Thelen Reid & Priest LLP (now known as Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP).  In New York, her practice included mergers & acquisitions, debt and equity financing transactions and securities law.  She also devoted a large portion of her practice to advising companies on general corporate matters, and in particular, corporate governance and Sarbanes-Oxley.

Since joining Rath Young, Jill has been active in the Energy Group, and she focuses her practice on renewable energy project financing and acquisition transactions, representing developers, lenders, buyers and sellers.  The projects have included solar, biomass and hydroelectric facilities.

With other members of the Energy Group, she assists project owners in obtaining necessary federal and state regulatory approvals, and renewable energy credits or financial incentives for renewable projects at the federal level and in states around the country.

Jill is also a member of the firm's Business and Finance Group, and the Environmental Law Group, and she does general commercial transactions and advises clients, including non-profits, on corporate governance.

Before law school, Jill was a Design and Production manager at a major New York publishing house, where she did graphic design, commissioned photos and illustrations, prepared profit and loss analyses of projects, negotiated vendor contracts and worked with the printers and binders.
