CONCORD NASHUA BOSTON

Litigation

The litigation practice group has trial experience in all of New Hampshire’s state and federal courts, in Massachusetts and Maine courts and before numerous regulatory boards. Our lawyers have wide experience in evaluating, negotiating and trying litigated matters. They have tried hundreds of cases before New Hampshire juries and have achieved an enviable record of success. Many have worked for the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, United States Attorney’s office or as law clerks to Federal or state trial court judges.  Well-known and respected throughout the state by judges and opposing attorneys, the litigation team has represented clients in courts of other states throughout the country and at all levels of trial and appellate practice. They are assisted by experienced associates and paralegals, including an experienced nurse-paralegal who is a valuable resource person for our attorneys concerning medical case issues.  They practice in all areas of litigation including commercial, business, criminal, environmental, employment, medical malpractice and personal injury cases.

The firm’s trial attorneys are experienced and tested in investigating cases and handling all strategy decisions to bring a case through discovery and trial, and if necessary, through an appeal to a higher court. They recognize that litigation can be an expensive process and take its toll on clients, and are always searching for ways to resolve disputes in an economic fashion by utilizing mediation and arbitration proceedings and entering settlement negotiations at the opportune time. If trial becomes necessary, however, they are among the state’s best, having assembled an impressive track record.

We would be happy to consult with you on your litigation or advocacy issues. We strive to be flexible when contracting for litigation services; cases are accepted on an hourly basis, a contingent fee basis, or a modified fee arrangement.
