We provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of employment and workplace issues and represent clients in front of federal courts, state courts and administrative agencies.  We understand that workplace issues are sensative and complicated, so we strive to understand the unique aspects of each client's business and needs in order to assist our clients in making effective and important decisions about the workplace.  We provide counsel on all aspects of the employment relationship, including hiring practices, leaves of absense, OSHA compliance, accomodation of disabled employees and students, discipline and termination, enforcement of confidentiality, non-compete and trade secret agreements.  We represent employers, schools and healthcare providers throughout New England.

We provide proactive guidance to our clients to help them avoid problems, including helping them to:

• comply with constantly changing federal and state laws that govern the workplace;
• review and update employment handbooks, policies and procedures that take into consideration the laws and needs of particular industries;
• train administrators, school faculty, employees and students on how to prevent unlawful harassment, hazing and bullying;
• conduct effective workplace investigations and training regarding sexual harassment and managing diversity; and
• draft and review employment contracts.

  When problems arise, we represent our clients before state and federal administrative agencies, including the New Hampshire Commission on Human Rights and the Department of Labor, and in litigation before state and federal courts.
