Stan Arnold, Senior Tax Policy Advisor and member of the Tax Practice Group at Rath, Young and Pignatelli, P.C., presented at the Council on State Taxation's (COST) 40th Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 22, 2009. Arnold's presentation focused on New Hampshire's experience with the Business Enterprise Tax and its potential applicability across the country. COST is the premier state tax organization representing business taxpayers. COST is a nonprofit trade association consisting of over 600 multistate corporations engaged in interstate and international business. COST's objective is to preserve and promote equitable and nondiscriminatory state and local taxation of multijurisdictional business entities.
