Tom Rath Energizes the Crowd with a Sing-AlongJanuary 7, 2008The night before the 2008 New Hampshire primary, presidential candidate Mitt Romney held a rally in Bedford, New Hampshire. Prior to Romney's arrival at the site, Tom Rath, his N.H. senior campaign adviser, took advantage of the high-energy crowd by leading a sing-along of Neil Diamond's classic, "Sweet Caroline." "Sweet Caroline" is a popular song in New England, recognized by many as the tune commonly played at Red Sox home games-- the team that won the 2007 World Series, shortly after breaking the "Curse of the Bambino" in 2004.
