Sherilyn Burnett Young Receives 2007 Marilla M. Ricker Achievement Award

The New Hampshire Womens Bar Association (NHWBA) presented Sherilyn Burnett Young with the 2007 Marilla M. Ricker Achievement Award at the NHWBA Annual Fall Reception on Tuesday, October 16, 2007.

Sherry is recognized as a leader in her profession, (serving as President of the firm) and a successful lawyer. She is committed to excellence in the community and New Hampshire generally. Sherry "has been a strong, steady and ever present mentor for me as well as many of the women who have worked at our firm and as lawyers in New Hampshire," wrote Lucy Hodder, a shareholder of the firm and chair of the Health Care Practice Group. Her nomination extolled her commitment to creating a firm culture where women are encouraged to reach their full potential and her never ending willingness to help other women lawyers establish and meet their career goals. "She is an example for us all" stated Lucy.
