Gil Whittemore Elected "Chair" of the ABA Section of Science & Technology Law

Gilbert Whittemore was elected "Chair" of the Section of Science & Technology Law of the American Bar Association at the ABA's annual meeting in August 2007. He will serve as chair during 2007-2008. Gil is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Vermont. He has a doctorate in History of Science, as well as a law degree and undergraduate degree from Harvard University.

The mission of the Section is to provide leadership on issues concerning science and technology and the law. More information is available at the Section’s website. The Section has over 10,000 members and is organized into over thirty specialized committees and boards. The Section publishes the quarterly magazine SciTech Lawyer and sponsors the scholarly journal Jurimetrics, as well as publishing numerous books on specialized topics in science, technology and law.
