Sherilyn Burnett Young joins Centrix Bank’s Board of Directors

Concord, NH – November 11, 2009: Rath, Young and Pignatelli, P.C., a leading full-service law firm based in Concord, New Hampshire with offices in Nashua and Boston, is pleased to announce that Attorney Sherilyn Burnett Young has been appointed to the Board of Director’s of Centrix Bank.

A founding shareholder and President of the Firm, Sherry heads the firm’s Environmental Practice Group. Sherry focuses her practice on environmental law, including environmental compliance, permits and approvals, and real estate transactions involving contaminated properties. She has extensive experience in negotiating with state and federal regulators, and has achieved numerous successful settlements for industrial, commercial and municipal clients in a variety of environmental enforcement cases. In addition to her environmental practice, Sherry also has considerable experience in general corporate law, public and private financing, and estates and trusts.

Sherry serves on the Board of the New Hampshire Business and Industry Association, the Board of Trustees of Franklin Pierce Law Center, and the New Hampshire Supreme Court Society. She was the first woman to chair the State Capital Group, a network of independent law firms in all 50 U.S. State capitals and in business markets and financial centers worldwide. In addition, she served on the Horizon Bank Board of Directors and was a former member of the Advisory Board for Primary Bank.

Sherry is a graduate of Cornell University and received her Juris Doctor Degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center.
