Tom Rath and Judi Rhines To Lead New Strategic and Public Affairs Service Initiative in Washington, D.C.

CONCORD, NH – November 1, 2005 – Rath, Young and Pignatelli announced that it has expanded its services with the establishment of a new strategic public affairs service, “The Rath Group.” The Rath Group is a service of Rath, Young and Pignatelli, which is one of New Hampshire’s leading law firms, with 30 professionals located at offices in Concord and Nashua, New Hampshire, and now Boston, Massachusetts.

The firm, founded in 1987 by former Attorney General Thomas D. Rath, is well known for its representation of clients on complex energy, tax, environmental and litigation matters and on matters involving legislative and public policy issues. The firm has also recently announced its expansion of services into the Massachusetts legal market with the opening of its Boston office.

The Rath Group is a public affairs/federal government relations service providing professional assistance to companies in the areas of strategic planning, leveraging stakeholder relationships, issues management, and federal procurement. Together, Tom Rath and Judith Rhines will lead the efforts of The Rath Group. Ms. Rhines, a 24-year veteran of the New England business community, is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in communications. Her professional experience has centered on creating long-term, key relationships to develop compelling and effective strategies to achieve a client’s short and long-term goals.
